Tameca Cole

My name is Tameca Cole, I prefer to be called Cole.

I’m a talented writer who utilizes a great amount of time honing my craft. I express the human experience and travesty of mass incarceration through the arts [see Tameca’s artwork at dieartwork.com]. I’m whole-heartedly a soldier for the Die Jim Crow project. I did not know the depths of my plight until I read “The New Jim Crow”. Yes, I am a victim of a biased and unjust criminal justice system due to my socio-economic background. Everyone in life has a purpose, and I’m convinced that mine, as an artist, is to go toe to toe with the oppressor. I’m passionate about my art, the cause, and my life – which I believe has only just begun.

My personal challenge to anyone reading my bio and has any legal background – write me. I want to show you, in black and white, The New Jim Crow. Together we will make the Die Jim Crow project the David that crushed the three-headed giant. Tameca Cole / 158393 D-N / 1216 North 25 St. / Birmingham, AL 35234
